About This Project
Inspire Broadband required a mission-critical backend engine to support their expanding ISP customer base. I architected and implemented a RESTful API with Node.js, Express, and MySQL handling the complete subscriber lifecycle: onboarding, bandwidth plan assignments, recurring billing cycles, and transaction reconciliation. Designed the database schema with strategic composite indexes on high-throughput query paths, alongside centralized validation middleware, rate limiting, and structured error boundaries.
